Notes

To do list
 - Change SATA cables to some long, round, flexible black cables
 - Get a decent CPU cooler
 - Replace one or two case parts.
 - Photos, benchmarking and overclocking.

Functions
 - Game streaming as a primary function
 - Web development as a potential second function to support my career.

Upgrade plans
 - System will be receiving self-contained liquid cooling for the CPU.
 - CPU and GPU overclocking will occur once self-contained CPU liquid cooling is installed.
 - System will eventually have all HDDs replaced with 3-4TB equivalents.
 - Other planned purchases include EVGA keyboard, mouse and an other brand webcam.
 - A complete rebuild is scheduled for July 2020.

General notes
 - System build is named after an object in a quest in the first Witcher game - the name stuck.
 - Build name was chosen because it describes the case chosen, which is a big, stylish obelisk.
 - The system eventually came to be the EVGA Obelisk, in which all possible components are of the EVGA brand. The brand choice came down to support, colour schemes, style and performance - I'm now such an EVGA fan to these elements that the next build will be the same.
 - Photos will be formally added here once the water cooling is in.

Fun facts
 - The EVGA Obelisk was planned because of the failure of a good gaming experience playing Wolfenstein: The New Order shortly after release.
 - The old system was still using an unbranded NVIDIA GTS250 for more than a decade.
 - This is the first computer I've owned in my life in which I've built from completely brand new parts, so it's my pride and joy until kids come.
