Notes

Many of you may remember Project G34, which all began in this thread; on January 10, 2011:
http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/784471

Which is more than three years ago, also a year before that I was gathering information, all in all now a good 4 years and 15 days later, Project G34 has become Valkyrie SMP 2014 om January 25, 2014 which you can see here
http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2101834

By selling old hardware, saving up and having a lot of patience, I was able to complete my new 2CPU Dream Machine.

The Supermicro H8DG6-F is the top of the line Dual Socket G34 motherboard on the market as it features not one,but two AMD SR5690 North Bridge chips, this makes it faster than all other Single SR5690 based motherboards by a good 20 to 25 %, all depending on the application or applications being run.

Some may ask why Server Hardware? Well I run game Servers for League of Dilo's, Mainly for our Primal Carnage Server, which will be 64 Bit with the upcoming Recode later this year :)

Anyways Enjoy my new MR +1 Page, after making a +1 please don't forget to leave a comment too!
Many thanks for reading!!!

Upgrade!!

Just added 4x 8GB PC3-12800 ECC Reg HP-Hynix Server Ram, for a total of 48GB, each CPU has 24GB Quad Channel DDR3-1600 @ 1333 ECC Reg.
Max Ram Bandwidth of about 46.4GB per sec, if running @ 1600Mhz it would do about 51.2GB per sec per CPU.

CPU's have been upgraded from:

2x 8-Core AMD OpteronMP 6140 C0's @ 16x 2.6Ghz
to:
2x 12-Core AMD OpteronMP 6180 SE D1's @ 24x 2.5Ghz
