Notes

This build started after my PC died.  I had done this when I was younger, but got away from it as I built my professional career.  I wanted to build a nice gaming and video editing rig.  I felt I would go with the best available components.  It took me about a month to build this after I got all the components and it was operational in late January 2014.  I have tinkered with it this year and have added a couple more SSDs, changed the processor form a 4930K to a 4960X and also got rid of the dual PSUs for a monster one by EVGA.  I also added the custom air filters just recently.  I have really enjoyed getting back into the PC building game.  I use this rig for work, video editing, gaming, folding and crunching.  As I was building it, I kept saying that this was a Grey Computer, regarding as the most powerful computer for many years.  Although this is not truly a Grey Computer, it is the most powerful one I have built, thus it's name, as well as my forum name.

I started building this system during the holiday season of 2013. It was a passion I had many years ago that I just now started to rekindle. This rig has been a challenge and a blessing. I will also be posting some pictures. I have a few more to take. Also I will run 3DMark and post those scores.
