Notes

This is my X79 system.  I currently have the CPU overclocked to 4.3.  I am still playing with the overclocks but am not trying to achieve a monster overclock, just something respectable.  The system has been performing very well in the confines of the Corsair 900D.

The 900D btw is an excellent case.  Very roomy with lots of options.  While I have not fully watercooled the system I do plan on going that route at some point.  That being said I am happy with my current set-up even though it is not water cooled completely.

Updated benchmarks for Fire Strike and 3D Mark 11 to reflect 3-way SLI.  I have not pushed the cards too hard yet in 3-way SLI.

Update:  Moved to GTX 1080's - Founders edition.  Clocks very easily reach 2100MHz with memory at 10200 MHz.  Run them usually boosted to 2000Mhz.

Thanks for the recent comments. I would add that while I seem to prefer green atm, I am able to easily change the colors in the case w the Hue. I have 2 Hue strips as well as 4 2-foot Sylvania RGB strips to light on the interior and the front area.

Nothing can be done about the red light in the sound card. I have the same card and it's not changeable.

+1, looks great. Personal opinion here, but I don't like the red LED in the sound card.
