Notes

After editing this serveral times to be able to post up the pic's & spec's, I think I've got it PERFECT now LOL! The story starts off my kids needed a simple place to hang with dad during the winter months & possibly together we could learn even more about some computer hardware & system set-up procedures ect. ect.. So we sat down & started selecting the different components to build the system & then we decided to do all the necessary things & beyond to form a case mod then it grew even bigger from a build into a [BUILD LOG] then we even added a GUIDE along with the [BUILD LOG] so others would have a reference if needed as well as provide us & others with some information to always go back to. From that point, I worked on this build for two weeks straight case modding, painting, building & recording almost every aspect of the build. The daughter was supposed to help with all of the recording but got busy helping out a needy famialy here locally for the Holiday Season which was a EXCELLENT & well needed instance. OFF TOPIC: If you have a car you don't need contact http://www.cars4christmas.org/apply-form . Along with all the Christmas events perspiring at the time, I had the build going on equally as well. The kids decided the paint scheme & from there the rest is pretty much history as this was a actually busy yet easy build other than all the excitement taking place around Christmas! The kids were present for the post & most of the build but it was harder working around all the schedules than the effort put into the build, at least for the kids. If I had one thing to say I didn't much like it would be the sound card. I purchased it thinking it was above average but have learned it's really not all that great. As for the speed, it's superfast & the GTX670's are AWESOME. I almost went with the 680's but decided the 670's had better reviews in most catagories. That's pretty much about it & if I think of more, I'll be sure & post it. The [BUILD LOG]/GUIDE is posted for those interested at: http://www.overclock.net/t/1333831/build-log-guide-asus-maximus-v-extreme-z77-1155-by-gunny1966 Thank You, GUNNY1966
