Notes

The unit is designed to run 24/7/365
It does not require continual coolant or service.
It is 100% stable under any load.
I also did extensive OS tweaking, especially in windows

Overclocking has been very succesful, but complicated:

dual 8 core cpus, 192GB of ram, 12 SSD (raid 0), 1 large ssd for backup, and 4 Titans
11 fans and still ultra quiet

...but I do use it for gaming, some work, etc. I like playing any games that do not require an online client running all the time, such as Steam.

That is one mental machine, what do you use it for, surely not just gaming?

Gold leader, I tried both those brands and 30' models, the issue I had is that I could not (after 9 purchase/returns) find a single monitor from them devoid of ANY dead or stuck pixels. A single locked pixel, a single dot of green in a sea of black would drive me nuts. Hence I went to the Samsung 2560x1440 (x3). The three monitors I have - have absolutely perfect pixels. The Dell was the worst offender, routinely found fresh out of the box 5-15 pixels stuck or locked and software couldn't fix it.

I made some changes. I added a temperature sensitive fan (turbine look with nose cone)that points over the plane of the 4 titan gtx cards. I also tweaked the stripe size on the SSD 12 Raid ) array for faster performance and lower cpu overhead. I made changes to make better use of the multi cores, better memory allocation and faster IO. The bios also went through some changes on the PCI 3.0 distribution, specific Gen 3 timing as well as bus speed changes. Lastly I added a 13th drive to do instant backups from the array whenever I choose for the whole array. I use the Macrium Reflect Server backup tool and my whole system backup takes 2.02 minutes. Restoration if ever needed takes about 4.26 minutes. System solid, 100% stable, not a single issue. Now I'm going to go back to playing Crysis 3 at 8040x1440 with everything maxed...
