Notes

This Rig is mainly built for extremely high storage space in Raid 5. The CPU & GPU's were choosen as a budget minded way to make use for folding@home. This PC rig was born out of the needs that my older PC rig could not do. I needed a higher capacity of Raid 5 which the older ICH7 could not do beyond 1GB, and more CPU power which the Pentium D 3.2GHz could not do beyond 720P decoding for H264 videos. Now this better PC Rig handles all my needs with ease. Later updates that I have done is add a Corsair H100 CPU water cooling. It is a nice improvement over air cooling. Except the fans included were making clicking noises. So I changed them out for some old 120mm PWM fans that I had from previous rig. I also SLI'd Crystal for better gaming performance, thou also to double the FAH work too.

05 Aug 2013, I will be updating the photos and specs of this rig since it is too far out of date.

Nice build man. I like those fans. Zalamn products are pretty quiet. Looks good.:)
