Notes

Had to upgrade the PSU's since 2x 1200's couldnt handle it and the antec caught on fire. Running 2x Silverstone 1500's now and seems to be rock solid.

No, no overclocking other than what was done for the benchmarks. It really doesn't run that hot. With each GPU at 99% workload it will peak at maybe 65c. I do have one card that just wants to stand out and run a bit more hot than the rest, but I've only seen it break 70 a few times. Granted that's with 9 deltas blasting at 100%. Overall I've been happy with it. I have thought about dropping down to four cards to do some better benching, but taking everything apart is more hassle than its worth.

Very HOT, more ways than one. What a PWR bill too.

This is pretty cool, are you planning to O/C a bit though? Can you with that load on the PSUs and cooling system? It seems like 4 card systems really are alot more powerful at the end of the day... and alot cheaper. I posted 45 290 with 2 GTX 570s and a single i7 950. My whole system is probably equal to less than half your GPU stack lol. Anyways would love to see that thing maxed out.
