Notes

This was my 1st build ever. I did it summer '09 & really enjoyed doing it. I've been upgrading ever since. Most recent upgrades were the i7 950, 2 GTX460SC 1MB, Corsair H70, and a Cooler Master HAF X Case. I Love the HAF X case. Its big enough to work in, has plenty of fans for good cooling/air circulation, and has awesome cable management to make your system look tight! Now all I need is for Crysis 2 to be released...

Thanks Patrick. Have fun with your build, i sure did, and be careful...its addictive. I'm prob gonna be upgrading to 580's (or 570's) this year, once Uncle Sam gives me my refund back :) I should have waited, and not bought the 460's, and just ran my 275's, but i couldn't resist...like I said its addictive. Good luck with your build!

Nice looking unit, I am working on my 1st build as well and have almost the same set up, but I would like to run 2X 460 SC with 9800 GTX+ for Physx. I ask EVGA about it and they said it would work.

Thanks for the help with posting the link, and thanks for the tip about Physx, even tho I don't think we should be penalized for having Physx capability. Can you run it with Physx set to GPU #2, so the CPU doesn't help in the EVGA control panel?

Also I thought I would let you know that your Vantage Link does not work. You need to click on your "Results" then pick your highest result and make it Public then copy the link that is listed below for the link to count towards your score. Also you need to disable Physx Hardware Acceleration before running your benchmark.

Nice rig for you first there JR. I am fairly new myself (doing it for only 2 years) My current build is a Cooler Master HAF 932 and its pretty sick. Check it out, Im below you a couple spots on the board but not for long hehe! Keep up the good work!

You were right, very close to my build. Nice vantage score by the way. Now you might be ready to take on a couple of 480's and call it a day.
