Oh yeah, I totally agree that the i7's have killer performance, its just that the AMD route is so much cheaper currently. You can get a nice AM3 board, 2GB DDR3, and a Phenom II 720 for around 300 dollars. For a budget, AMD packs quite a punch.

Its good to see other AMD builds on here. I really like my amd and plan on getting a deneb when I can afford it but honestly if I were to win a sponsorship id rebuild with an i7 and ddr3, though it hurts to admit it
