the length of my last post should give you some indication, and if you couldn't tell by now, I've built this PC mostly for racing sims. Now if there was only one that could really push it. Was too late for the Project cars pre-release builds.

notfordman, the stand is okay, I had to make some adjustments. From factory, you couldn't use the brake mod with the t3pa if you followed their instructions for mounting the pedals, but a couple little brackets and some hose clamps fixed that up. Also it could use some wire management. I have the th8a shifter, and the throw feels really long, but you don't notice after a while. The position of it on the stand is awkward though, and I'm not sure I've gotten over that, and there's no really way to adjust that one part, without manufacturing something else The wheel feels really good though, and is quite surprising. The sturdy stand really brings out the best in the tx setup, it folds up, it's very adjustable, and functional. It's a great base, and only needs some light modification. Regarding the tx ecosystem and a stand in general, one day I'll go full hydraulic cockpit and three monitor wrap, but I'm very happy with it for now. I saw some better pedals though that won't work with the thrustmaster kit. It has a hydraulic brake and simulates ABS even. Rather than position based, they're pressure based, and they're just much higher quality feel and experience, so when I get serious, I'll replace it all, but for the tx ecosystem, the stand is great. The pedal setup was quite frustrating originally, but since getting the stand, it's all great fun!

cereal keller, I've been wanting to go full water for a while now. I think first priority is the 8 core intel, then water loop. I hate to remove the plates from my 980s to put on the water blocks, I'll have to ask EVGA if they'll take them and do it for me, send them back, etc. I think I'm going to get a third 980 as well; I'll have to decide after upgrading the CPU.

notfordman, they are headphones. Razer Tiamat 7.1. They actually have 10 separate speakers. I like them. The positional accuracy is astounding, but you have to turn the surround speakers up a little, and the rears a little more. They have nice bass reproduction as well, and the sensitivity for the signal is okay too. They sounded better on my audio card than the built in 7.1 on the X99 board though, so I think I might have to go to x8 on one of my video card slots in order to get my sound card going again.

Sweet rig. A custom cooling loop would really make much more attractive.
